The view through our lens

The Photos in this project were taken by children and teenagers involved in the foster care system and various programs supported by Lutheran Child and Family Service of Michigan. They were each given a camera and a few themes to direct them in their project, becoming photographers. Their themes.... NIGHT, LOVE & BEAUTY, FRUSTRATION, NATURE and WARMTH. Each photographer brought a unique story, a genuine perspective and natural talent. The photographs are amazing.

Each photo carries more then a theme, they carry individual expression and perspective. View their images and learn more about their experience.

Purchase a photo, poster, or framed piece and support Lutheren Child & Family Service of Michigan and local artistic programs.

Thank You,
