Bio
This is from a sketch I had done in 1981. My husband, Ryan, sailed with Hobie Fleet 287 on the Saginaw Bay. I did their trophies, and t-shirt designs. At the time I was on the committee boat and took this picture. It was a port favored starting line and Dr. Rick Wacksman, in the blue sail was on Starboard. Starboard is the right of way so anyone in his way had to give him room at the mark. I’ve been living back on the Saginaw Bay since 1986 and still enjoy painting and sailing. We have two children, Sarah and Jim. They are both talented artists.
