Bio
Mark A. Piotrowski lives in Bay City, MI with his wife Jennifer and daughter Raven. In the thirteen years he has been teaching for the Bay City public schools, he has taught art at every grade level and is currently at Handy middle School. He is also an adjunct drawing professor at Delta College. Piotrowski earned his Bachelor Degree in Art Education at Eastern Michigan University and his Master Degree in Fine Arts at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Recently, his work has been on display at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Lansing Art Gallery, Space Studios in Midland, Buckham Gallery in Flint, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and 2 separate exhibits for the Gifts of Art Program at the University of Michigan Hospital.
Piotrowski was part of a three-person show this past November at the Court Street Gallery in Old Town Saginaw and an invitational at the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit. He just closed an invitational at the Anton Art Center in Mount Clemens and is currently working on several new pieces for a 3rd exhibition at the U of M next summer.
