Michelle Courier will be the featured artist for October. “I consider myself a realist and
impressionistic painter. Bouncing between the two, I love to create visible brush strokes and textures that allow two different ways to enjoy the painting.”(From Michelle’s artist statement.) Michelle will be in our gallery Oct. 7th for the 1st Thursdays Event, so stop in and join the fun!
With the holidays fast approaching, we will be highlighting different frame collections each
week. Maybe one will inspire a gift idea, or spur a reframing of an old favorite. The Vermont Collection by Juhles-Larson embraces the spirit of classic Americana style. Vermont’s seven finishes were inspired by simpler times in a picturesque American setting and include Brick Red, Denim, Evergreen, Thunder Gray, Black Granite, Saddle Brown and Oat. The three Vermont profiles offer versatile framing options and include a 1-inch-wide design with a simple, modern shape, and a 2 1/4-inch-wide profile, which features a rounded lip with a slight slant that leads the eye in toward the artwork.

Coming August 5th
Larry Butcher’s “Roadwork” show will be opening on August 5th with an artists reception from 5 to 8pm. The show will be up for the entire month of August ending on August 31st.
Make sure to stop in and view over 14 of his original works that will be on display and available for purchase in the gallery.
